Westfold*Rescue my build

Prototype first · pay after

Stalled, broken, or abandoned build? We'll get it shipped.

We take over half-finished, buggy, or inherited codebases — stabilize them, fix what's broken, and get you back to shipping. No blame, just a path forward.

Book the call → a triage report on your codebase within 24 hours. $0 until you've seen it.

The real problem

The build stalled. Maybe the freelancer vanished, the agency underdelivered, or the codebase just collapsed under its own shortcuts. Either way: money spent, product not shipped.

Most agencies answer with the most expensive sentence in software: 'this all needs a rewrite.' Sometimes true. Usually convenient.

We start from what exists: audit honestly, stabilize fast, salvage what's good — and only rebuild the parts that earn it. No blame. Just a path forward.

The deal

You see it before you pay for it.

Book the call and brief us. Within 24 hours you get a triage report on your codebase — free. If it's not obviously right, walk away owing nothing. If it is, we scope the full build with a fixed quote.

What you actually get

Everything it takes to ship. Nothing it doesn't.

Honest technical audit

What's salvageable, what's dangerous, what it takes to ship — in plain language, fast.

Stabilization first

Crashes, data risks, and blockers handled before anything else — the bleeding stops early.

Salvage over rewrite

We keep what works. Rebuilding everything is a last resort, not a sales strategy.

Momentum restored

Releases start landing again — small at first, then steadily.

Documentation & handover

So this never depends on one person who might disappear again.

How it works

From this page to shipped.

  1. 1

    Book the call

Pick a time and tell us what you're building — 30 minutes, plain English, no deck.

  2. 2

    See it in 24 hoursfree

Within a day of the call, a triage report on your codebase is in your inbox. Free, before any commitment.

  3. 3

    Send us what you have

A call plus code access — half-finished, undocumented, embarrassing; that's exactly what this service exists for.

  4. 4

    We stabilize, then build

Dangerous things first, then the features that were promised and never landed.

  5. 5

    You're shipping again

A working product, a clean repo, and momentum — with us or without us from there.

We choose who we work with

Who this is for.

This is for you if

  • You paid for a build that never quite shipped
  • Your developer or agency is gone — with the knowledge
  • The product mostly works but nobody dares touch it
  • You need honesty about what you have before spending more

Not for you if

  • ×You're looking for someone to litigate what the last team did — we fix, we don't testify
  • ×The project is dead and you know it; save the money

Before you ask

Questions you're probably asking.

The code is a mess and undocumented. Can you even work with it?

Almost always yes — this service assumes inherited, undocumented code from the start. The audit tells you quickly if anything is truly unsalvageable.

Will you just tell us to rewrite everything?

No. Rewrites are the last resort — they're slow, risky, and usually unnecessary. The audit separates 'keep', 'fix', and 'replace', with reasons you can check.

How fast can you stabilize things?

The dangerous items (crashes, data risks, security holes) are triaged in the first days. 'Back to shipping' typically follows in weeks, scoped honestly after the audit.

What if we don't have code access yet?

Common problem — we'll walk you through recovering access to repos, servers, and accounts from a departed team as step zero.

Sunk cost isn't a strategy. Shipping is.
